Bill has had a variety of experiences throughout the world.  Following the completion of his training to become a family nurse practitioner Bill entered the United States Air Force. The highlights of his USAF career include numerous “firsts”.  First USAF nurse practitioner selected to attend emergency/trauma care program, first non-physician selected to become a department chair within the USAF, first nurse practitioner selected to command the Division of Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center. As Director of Emergency Services, led the charge at Wilford Hall to become the first Level I Trauma Center within the United States Military certified by the American College of Surgeons. Served as a clinical consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General. The ultimate career highlight for Bill was giving the Oath of Office to Commission his son as the third generation to serve his country within the USAF Medical Service.

Following his retirement Bill remained in Alaska for 5 years doing Emergency and Urgent Care. He relocated to the Pacific Northwest to join the emergency department staff at St Joseph’s Hospital (Bellingham). He then transitioned to The Everett Clinic prior to joining SRC during 2010. He has served as Department Chairperson growing the Urgent Care Service from 1 site providing care 15,000/year to 3 sites providing care for 65,000/year.

Bill is committed to treating patients the same way he would expect his family to be treated.
